The winners of the 2024 Dadasaheb Phalke International
Film Festival Awards have been announced, with Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherji,
Nayanthara, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga among the prominent names honored at the
event. Shah Rukh Khan clinched the Best Actor award for his remarkable
portrayal in “Jawan” while his co-star Nayanthara was awarded Best Actress for
the same film. Anirudh Ravichander’s outstanding music composition in “Jawan”
earned him the Best Music Director accolade. Sandeep Reddy Vanga was recognized
as the Best Director for his work on "Animal."
The
prestigious ceremony, held at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End, was attended by numerous
Bollywood and television celebrities who gathered to commemorate the industry’s
achievements over the past year. Apart from the winners, the event’s red carpet
moments, including encounters between Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, and
Shah Rukh Khan posing with Rani Mukerji, garnered considerable attention.
Other
notable winners include Atlee, Shahid Kapoor, Raj & DK, and Rani Mukerji,
who were acknowledged for their outstanding contributions to cinema.
Additionally, Bobby Deol received recognition for his portrayal of a negative
character in “Animal,” while Rupali Ganguly and Neil Bhatt were honored for
their performances in television series.
